April 25 this year marks the 76th
anniversary of the Korean People¡¯s Army.
On this auspicious day, the Songun
Politics Study Group, US on behalf of the Songun soldiers, extends the greatest
respect to Generalissimo Kim Il Sung,
founder of the Korean People¡¯s Army, and leader Kim Jong Il.
Generalissimo Kim Il Sung is a prominent statesman and brilliant commander born
of Heaven, pioneered the Korean revolution by founding the army and led the
Korean revolution along the road of victory. His revolutionary history is that
of founding the army and his leadership is that of Songun.
He, who felt keenly the necessity of army
in order to save the destiny of the Korean nation from the brutal iron rule of
Japan, proclaimed the founding of the revolutionary armed force on April 25,
1932 with two pistols as the asset that had been bequeathed from his father Kim
Hyong Jik 76 years ago.
From the time when he unfolded the Songun
revolutionary leadership, the Korean people could defeat Japanese imperialism
and carry out the cause of national liberation having the true army and the

building the army and realizing the cause of modeling the army with the Juche
idea.
Leader Kim Jong Il has consolidated the single-minded unity of the KPA as
the main agent of revolution by comprehensively administering the Songun
political mode embodied Kim Il Sung¡¯s
idea of giving priority to arms in 1990s. He defended the destinies of the
country and socialism on the strength of arms and made breakthrough to build a
thriving nation in the DPRK. It is a great exploits in history of founding the
